Darrell & Lyn,
What can we say?
You both made us so welcome on both our trips this year and your companionship, particularly over those fabulous dinners, was great. We have still not got over the shock of fine dining and excellent wines in the middle of nowhere. It’s a truly awesome place. We all wish you peace and happiness on your return home after your tenure expires and we hope that you will be able to return next year.
Safe flying.

The guys on DC-3 VH-CWS all agree that the overnight in Forrest was the jewel in the crown of our most memorable flight across Oz.
A magic peacefull spot... where we took about 800 photos in a little over an hour and a half, as the sun sank and the light changed.

Great to see the Guestbook up and running again!
Maybe ask some of your guests to sign it for you, as it would be great to get their feedback on Forrest for future guests! |

Great site guys. Thought I'd check it out after meeting you two a few weeks ago when Steve and I (pilot) flew through in a Seminole. Hope you're enjoying the sunshine, it's cold and wet here... bloody Melbourne! Cheers, Matt |

Had the time of our lives with the previous Managers, Ross and Alice. An experience we will treasure for a very long time. A place everyone should visit at least once. |

I've been to Forrest 2 times each for about 4 days. There is always something to do or see and the eagles are awesome. The hospitality is really good. |

A truly memorable experience. The genuine flavour of the outback and a piece of pioneering aviation history to explore. Many thanks to Ian and Bea - especially for Bea's fabulous cooking. I was inspired to poetry - watch this space as Bea threatens to publish my doggerel! |

A must to overnight if you get the chance. The accommodation is clean and tidy and the hospitality is legendary! Take the "History Tour" to get an appreciation of the town's past. |
